  1. Connection and Fixation

     Carrying Axial and Lateral Loads

    • In the petroleum industrial environment, equipment and pipelines have to bear a variety of complex loads. Hex - head bolts can effectively carry axial and lateral loads. Axial load mainly refers to the tensile or compressive force along the center line direction of the bolt. For example, in a vertical petroleum pipeline, the pressure of the fluid inside the pipeline will generate an axial tensile force on the connecting flange, and the hex - head bolt needs to bear this tensile force to prevent the pipeline from being pulled apart. Lateral load is the force perpendicular to the center line direction of the bolt.
